Home Workout Perks...

Today's workout is DONE πŸ‘Š Something I hear from mamas quite often is that they can't workout at home because they don't have anyone to watch their kiddos and it's just too hectic! I hear that BUT in the amount of time it would take me to pack up for the gym, drive there, unload, drop off at the gym childcare, pick up from gym childcare, load up and drive home I have already COMPLETED a killer workout right in my living room! JUST in the prep and travel time!! I dunno about you but SAVING time anywhere I can as a mama and wife is like πŸ’πŸ™ŒπŸŽ‰ then I have more time to watch Netflix {loving Fuller House!}, play at the park, meet up for play dates....or fold laundry, do dishes and make dinner 😜 Either way saved time is πŸ€‘πŸ’ƒπŸ»! Redd isn't a consistent or long napper so working out during nap time can't always happen---so I prep him a few "stations" and we rotate. Jumper, snack in high chair, blanket with toys {including the hanger he LOVES right now!} then back to the jumper or high chair for a 2nd snackπŸ˜‚! I also have a few favorite toys that I only pull out for him when I'm working out. He isn't always super happy about it and sometimes I have to take a quick break to help him out but 30 mins is doable!! What workout at home with kiddos tricks do you use?!

Transformation Tuesday

I love face to face comparisons πŸ‘πŸ‘ Tonight I'm feeling extra tired and a little worn down. I think as a new mama {or maybe any mama} you have days where you wonder if you are doing this whole motherhood thing very well. 
Something that perks me up is to look back at pictures of tiny Redd and watch videos of his newborn squeaks. I've kept him alive 8 1/2 months so I'm obvi doing something right πŸ™ƒπŸ˜‚ So while daddy has him in the tubby I've been scrolling through the photo album on my phone. 
Redd def takes the cake πŸŽ‚ for biggest transformation on this transformation Tuesday--5 weeks to 37 weeks {8 1/2 months} BUT hot dang I'm seeing some progress in my face. 
I'm not just working hard to create and stick with healthy habits to have a thin face {but I'll take it!πŸ™Œ} but to help my body feel good, to have energy to enjoy life and to keep up with this growing boy.
